A great meeting at SEE Health Network Secretariat premises today with H.E. Dr. Georg Woutsas, Austrian Ambassador.
Director of the SEEHN Secretariat Dr Mira Dasic presented SEEHN, its organization and its recent activities and achievements, highlighting eventual opportunities to be built upon towards the implementation of the Chisinau Pledge and 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
The discussion included current and future plans of SEEHN, comprising the readiness to continue working on health issues and strategic partnerships in the SEE Region (Western Balkans and beyond).
One particular fruitful partnership cooperation between SEEHN and European Health Forum Gastein from Austria has been underlined.
Specific attention has been put also on the air pollution in the Region and the eventual modalities on how to contribute to the government’s efforts to decrease the threat to the population health.
Finally, interlocutors exchanged opinions regarding the existing possibilities on how to better address public health challenges, nationally and regionally.
