The South-Eastern Europe Health Network (SEEHN) is a regional intergovernmental organization established in 2001 to promote collaboration and shared values among its member states, aiming to enhance health, peace, and well-being in the region. Its member countries include Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Israel, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, and Serbia.

The SEEHN Secretariat serves as the executive body responsible for coordinating the network’s activities, implementing its policies, and facilitating communication among member states and partners. Located in Skopje, North Macedonia, the Secretariat functions as the administrative hub, supporting the network’s mission to strengthen public health systems and regional cooperation.

The Secretariat continues to play a pivotal role in organizing training programs, workshops, and partnerships aimed at addressing public health challenges in South-Eastern Europe. For instance, it has coordinated training-of-trainers courses for primary healthcare nurses to strengthen capacities in responding to health emergencies like COVID-19.

Through its ongoing initiatives, the SEEHN Secretariat remains dedicated to fostering regional cooperation and enhancing public health systems among its member countries.
